What to Expect

We currently meet for worship in our Fellowship Hall while renovations are being made to our sanctuary. There are signs that clearly direct the way from the parking lot to the fellowship hall. 

Our worship service begins at 10:30am, however many people arrive 10 to 15 minutes early in order to meet new people and fellowship before the service starts. 

Our Children's Ministry is broken down into Southside Toddlers (ages 0-2) and Southside Kids (ages 3-5). You can sign your children in at the Kids Check-in Table before the service. Southside Toddlers is available for the entire service. Southside Kids will be dismissed halfway through the service. Children 6 and up remain in the Fellowship Hall with their parents for the entirety of the service.  

There is no expected way that you should dress. You can wear a t-shirt and jeans or a long flowery church dress. You'll find people wearing shorts, jeans, t-shirts, dresses, collard shirts, etc. 

We seek to fill our services with theologically rich songs from different musical styles, including Gospel, Christian Contemporary, and traditional hymns. 

We partake in the Lord's Supper as a church every Sunday. We invite anyone who is a baptized believer and a member, on good terms, of a like minded church to join us in this celebration. 

We practice expositional preaching. This typically looks like preaching through books of the Bible. 

Every Sunday after our worship service we all share a meal together in our Fellowship Hall. We Invite you to stay around and join us!
